Whether you color the illustrations or not, you'll discover new insights about yourself and your magic through each month and season. The Planner for a Magical 2025 includes:Over 160 pages of illustrated spells, rituals, and simple “everyday” practical magicMonthly calendars and weekly planner pages with astrological and moon phase informationA concise “Beginner’s Guide” to spell casting, witchcraft, and working with the energy of magical animalsTransform your life and find yourself on the empowering journey of your own magical path. This book is printed on both sides of the page and works best with colored pencils or crayons. Markers and paints are not recommended.
These planners are so cute, fun and practical. They come in various bindings, but I prefer the spiral-bound. You can get the black & white version to color yourself, or you can buy a fully-colored version. The full color versions are beautiful, but I love having the option to color the pages myself. But believe me when I say you don't need to color them, they're beautiful just the way they are. They tend to have a 'theme' each year, one year might focus on the moon, another year magic in general, etc. This year's theme is 'animal magic'. The artwork is always quirky and delightful. There are miscellaneous pages with spells, suggested herbs & crystals, suggest tarot reading ideas, and correspondences. None of these are in depth, they're just fun 'asides' on the pages or suggested activities to inspire. The style is witchy and magical, but we're encouraged to create our own magic in our own ways. There's zero heavy or dark content, it's all very positive and inspiring and there's friendly reminders to believe in ourselves throughout the book. For me personally, the best thing about these planners is that it's the exact format I prefer in a planner. It has the month view on side-by-side pages, and it also has the daily pages, with several lines for notes for each day. There's even a year-view showing all the months along with moon phases. These features are a must for me, so I'm thrilled that this offers everything I want in a planner: spiral bound, preferred monthly/daily layout and it's inspiring and fun.And yes, moon phases are on the calendar pages AND there's an amazing medieval-inspired mini moon calendar on each month's cover page, showing all the moon phases for each day for quick reference. There's also pages in the front with handy charts for reference: correspondences for days, hours, ideal timing for spells and setting intentions, along with wheel charts for the elements, the zodiac, moon phases, and more. There's also periodic journal prompts to set intentions and occasional note pages to review your month and set goals for the upcoming month. One word of caution: the pages have print on both sides and aren't thick enough to have no bleed-through for alcohol markers. I use pencils and the paper quality is good, but if you use wet markers it would most likely bleed through. The price is on the high end, at least for my budget. But I allow myself this splurge every year because I enjoy these planners so much. And you can save the old ones for reference and for endless coloring. Plus, they're fun to collect! I also like knowing I support a female-owned & operated small business.
