Dr Ferri did a wonderful job yet again with his comprehensive review of medicine. The book is thorough and practical without being too detailed. That is hard to do. I enjoyed reading up on various medical conditions that I see or treat. His treatment suggestions are sensible and he shows a conservative and prudent approach to patient management.Superior to the Washington Manual which is a very good book too.I would say if you are stranded on a desert island with a small quatico hut clinic, this would be a perfect addition to your library.
